Mims Commits to Fresno State

It was the fourth commitment over the weekend, as Fresno State landed their third running back for 2017 in Jordan Mims.

Mims made it official, as he announced on Tuesday that he would be joining the Bulldogs.

In his statement, he said:

"It's been a hard road full of ups and downs and hard decisions. Thank God first and foremost to get me where I am today, my family and my teammates for pushing me and making me a better player and person. It's been a long and difficult process. Thank you to all the coaches who have offered me a scholarship. I wish all of them the best of luck with their upcoming seasons. After talking it over with my family, I've decided to commit to Fresno State University. #GoDawgs"

As mentioned before, Mims is the third running back to join Fresno State's 2017 recruiting class, joining Ronnie Rivers and Nate Jones.

This season, he recorded 251 carries for 2,388 yards and 29 touchdowns and was named the Mercury News Bay Area Offensive Player of the Year.
