William Nicholson talks about Fresno State offer

That Fresno State has already offered defensive end William Nicholson from Corona (Calif.) Centennial is the perfect example on how the Bulldog program has been competing with the big boys on Saturdays.

Nicholson didn't start as a junior, but played quite bit and made an impact on a team that played in the State Championship in 2012. He stands 6-foot-2, and weighs 220 pounds.

In addition to the Bulldogs, Nicholson has recently added another offer. When word gets out about his potential there is every reason to believe there will be a lot more scholarship offers in the near future.

Nicholson talks about his spring recruitment.

"It has been going good," Nicholson said. "I have two offers so far from New Mexico State and Fresno State.

"I'm just staying focused on spring ball figuring out where I want to go to. I'm going to wait out this season, stay focused and get more schools to offer."

Nicholson is well aware of Fresno State's reputation as the team that some of the major programs didn't want to play for fear of getting beat. The Centennial defensive end talks Fresno State.

"I haven't been up to Fresno State yet, but I talk to the coaches," Nicholson said. "They really like me and want me to come to their camp. I'm really excited about going to Fresno State's camp.

"I am also going to a few other camps. I am going to Michigan, Stanford and I think I am going to Oklahoma's camp as well."

Nicholson has a very specific game plan on why he has decided take in as many camps as he can.

"I am hoping to pick up more offers, honestly, stay focused and give it all I've got," Nicholson said. "Putting God first and do what I got to do. I am going to stay focused."

Though Nicholson wasn't a starter for Centennial, he was still able to rack up over 50 tackles and four sacks."

Michigan and Stanford are taking a long long look at Nicholson so a big camp performance will definitely help increase his status.

Nicholson is definitely one to keep your eyes as the recruiting process rolls on.
