Could Hollins Jr. Be a Sign of Return to Houston?

In the class of 2011 Oklahoma, with three football signings, made their presence felt in the Houston, Texas area like they had not in Bob Stoops' time in Norman. However in the class of 2012 Oklahoma hasn't made much of a run at the city's top prospects and many are wondering whether it's 2011 or 2012 that will be the abberation.

If the upcoming visit of Missouri City Fort Bend Marshall standout linebacker Deon Hollins Jr. is any indication it would seem that the Sooners have many plans to build upon their growing presence in 'Space City'.

"Actually we were in Norman last year, for the NUC Ultimate 100 camp, at the indoor facility, and we liked Norman," his father, Deon Hollins Sr., said. "Of course you look at (Bob) Stoops, and (Brent) Venables and those are some of the most well respected names in college football. To talk to (Venables) and build a rapport with what he has done with his defenses over the year and what not that means a lot."
