JUCO LB has Oregon offer
Oregon is one of two Pac-12 schools that has offered Ivan McLennan, a junior college linebacker who is only now starting to come into his own. McLennan hasn't been playing football for too long and he's got a wealth of potential.
The Torrance (Calif.) El Camino C.C. linebacker didn't have a lot of interest coming out of high school a couple of years back.
Part of that was because he didn't have the grades to play at a four-year college just yet. He's working hard to change that and making the most of this opportunity at El Camino. But another reason for the lack of interest is simply that he wasn't nearly as good as he is now. He only started four or five games as a high school junior, and the fact that his team won only one game his final year didn't help his visibility with colleges.
